Our basic Embroidery deco method. Direct embroidery commonly called flat embroidery, basically means that we are applying the stitches directly into the garment instead of using patches. Our machines are capable of using up to 12 different thread colors.
3D/Puff Embroidery is obtained by using a piece of foam under the stitches. 3D Embroidery is perfect when you have bold designs it is not recommended when your design has a lot of small detail/type.
We use 2 mil and 3 mil thickness foam. It is applied via Heat Seal.
There are times when direct embroidery may not be a good choice. The type of fabric and the item to be decorated play an important role in deciding if a patch is the right deco method to use. A great choice for fabrics that have a very loose weave.
With the same properties of a flat embroidered patch, adding a 3rd dimension becomes easier via a 3D Embroidered Patch. All patches are applied via heat seal method utilizing our IQ 360 presses that are specifically built for this purpose with heat platens on top and bottom.
The maximum thickness is 2 mil.
